      Excellent welder

It welds excellently. I took it to a teacher in the field to have him check it out and teach me since until then I was only a welder. He was fascinated by the equipment and its price.

      Very nice little machine!

This machine is fantastic. It is really excellent quality and lightweight. You will need a bunch of things to get started - a tank of gas, a regulator, a tungsten electrode, and a filler rod. I also bought the cheap foot pedal, and it works just fine - just on/off, though.

      Perfect Training TIG Welder

Want to start learning how to TIG weld, get this affordable machine. Purchased this TIG welder and was able to TIG weld immediately! Set power and air pressure for thickness of metal to be welded and you’re ready to go. Simple setup is great but arc initialization is a godsend. Now I can focus on working my basic TIG welding skills and as I get these working well, then I’ll go back to the Lincoln TIG welder to figure our how to use all of its controls.

      Pretty good for the money

The tig side of things is acceptable in a pinch for portability, and the start is robust. I will note that the high frequency start function seems to be running continuously until you stop your weld. I guess that doesn't matter, its just unusual. With such a low price, I added the four year repair. I am very pleased with the value and portable utility this little welder may deliver.
