TIG Welding Tungsten Electrode 2% Lanthanated Blue 3/32"x7" 10 pack

Lanthanum oxide is evenly distributed along the length of the electrode, which makes it possible to maintain the initial sharpening of the electrode for a long time during welding. This is a major advantage when welding DC (straight polarity) or AC from improved welding power sources, steels, and stainless steel. When welding on alternating sinusoidal current, the working end of the electrode must have a spherical shape. Compared to cerium and thorium, lanthanum electrodes have less wear on the working end of the electrode.

𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃: Lanthanated electrodes are popular due to the relative ease of striking an arc and lower amperage required. They perform exceptionally well in both AC & DC applications.

𝐖𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍: The main areas of application for WL tungsten electrodes are the welding of non-alloyed and high-alloyed steels, aluminum, titanium, nickel, copper, and magnesium alloys.

Great value, great product

Tried many, but these hold up best. Less wear on the tip, and works well on AC and DC. Performs great with aluminum and nickel. Super happy

Amazing product for tig

Fast delivery and well-packaged. Great for stainless steel and titanium welding. Lasts longer, and the blue color makes it easy to identify.
