The best

This item is the best I've used to date; it fits over the pipe, has a strong spring, both sides of the jaws are connected to the ground lug by an internal copper strap, has two ground cable holes to keep the cable in place, and feels nice and sturdy. So don't let that affect your decision.

So much better than what came with my cheapo welder

The original clamp Spring is powerful. Can it hold on well enough to act like a clamp to position the workpiece? It can be bulky on small parts unless you have a metal welding table to clamp to.

On a cheap flux core welder, get better flux wire and definitely a better ground clamp.
